The Dropkick Murphys brought their rambunctious “For the People… In the Pit” St. Patrick’s Day 2026 Tour to The Admiral Theater in Omaha on February 26, 2026, and the sold-out crowd got exactly what they came for: a raucous, beer-soaked celebration of Celtic punk, working-class anthems, and pure communal energy.
By the time Dropkick Murphys took the stage, the sold-out show had The Admiral packed shoulder to shoulder. The anticipation was thundering. Now, if you’re not familiar with Dropkick Murphys, every song is an anthem, which lends to an evening of nearly 100% crowd participation. With the chanting and belting of choruses, the Admiral came alive from the pit to the balcony.
They opened with ‘Barroom Hero’ which had the entire crowd chiming in with HEY, HEY, HEY, which then led into ‘The State of Massachusetts’, ‘The Gang’s All Here’ and ‘The Boys are Back.’ The closing run was everything a Dropkick Murphys crowd lives for: “I’m Shipping Up to Boston” with the pit in full tilt, the communal roar of “Rose Tattoo,” and “Worker’s Song” closing things out with fists in the air.
The “For the People…In the Pit” tour has clearly hit its stride. Every band on this bill earned their spot, and The Admiral gave it all a home it deserved. If this tour is coming to your city, don’t miss it, and don’t forget to stretch.
